Verity is a corporate lawyer with a passion for demystifying the law.  Verity works at Telstra – Australia’s largest telecommunications company – in the Customer Contracting legal team, supporting Telstra’s Enterprise customers. Verity’s diverse career background and experience running small businesses provides a strong commercial edge to her legal practice.

Verity is happiest when simplifying complicated contracts with plain language and clear information design. She is an avid early technology adopter and would love to hear any suggestions for new apps or productivity tools.

Verity is also Secretary for the Board of Melbourne-based social enterprise STREAT which provides life-transforming training to disadvantaged young people and Director with the Communication Research Institute, a consumer advocacy organisation promoting better, usable communications for consumers. When she’s not working, Verity is cycling (slowly) or writing on her blog Checklist Legal about innovative legal ideas.
