Ted Botzum

Executive-In-Residence at World Commerce & Contracting; Partner at Aptitude Global

Ted Botzum, an World Commerce & Contracting Executive-in-Residence, who joined World Commerce & Contracting after merging the BFSI sourcing roundtable network, Global SRN into World Commerce & Contracting, is an accomplished, business-focused sourcing, finance and IT executive with extensive knowledge of and deep experience in the marketplace. With leading commercial deal structuring in over $30 billion in transactions, he has an extensive background in deal structuring and negotiations, governance, vendor management, program management, finance, strategic development, asset sales / buy-backs, M&A integration, people and project management, IT services and business development. He has had leadership roles over the years at IBM, TPI Inc./Information Services Group (ISG), and UBS and currently leads World Commerce & Contracting’s BFSI network in addition to running his own advisory business. He has led and developed financial best practices that are used industry-wide.

Teds holds an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh-Dickenson University and BS in Management from SUNY Binghamton. He is a CCM (Commercial and Contract Management) Advanced Practitioner, Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP), Professional Project Manager (PMP) and ITIL certified.  As president and founder of The Michael Petrone Foundation, he has led community service efforts focused on a range of identified individual needs, including scholarships at Pope John Paul II and Kennedy-Kenrick High Schools.  Ted currently resides in Raleigh & Wilmington, North Carolina.
