Fay is multi-award winning expert in complex commercial transactions and commercial dispute resolution. Fay has been recognised in the Business Elite Awards, the 50 Women to Watch List by Cranfield School of Management, the Powerlist in partnership with Lloyds Banking Group, EY and Thomson Reuters, and top 5 of the top 35 women in UK business by Management Today in partnership with Accenture. Fay is a published author on commercial best practice, including one of the authors to the U.K. Governments Outsourcing Playbook.

Fay has served as Head of Legal & Commercial for a number of multi-billion dollar global market leaders in the private sector, with exec level experience in a range of industries; engineering, aerospace & defence, oil & gas, automotive, resourcing, utilities and pharmaceuticals.

Fay also has senior public sector experience, as former Deputy Director of the Complex Transactions Team and Head of the Dispute Resolution Practice for the UK Cabinet Office. As well as advising departments such as HM Treasury on their 2018-2021 Commercial Blueprints, Fay led EU Exit Commercial Assurance Reviews for the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Fay also represented government departments, such as the Home Office and Department for Education, in mediations for high profile £100m+ disputes. Fay’s most recent Government engagement was for the Royal Air Force, transforming its function of legal and commercial professionals and overseeing £5.7bn of commercial activity.

Fay is legally qualified, a qualified civil and commercial mediator, and a qualified data protection practitioner cited in the EU Journal. Fay is also MCIPS qualified. Fay studied at SOAS, University of Oxford and undertook an MBA with UCL.
