Robel Barrios is the General Manager for Procurement Operations.  In his role, he oversees the functional disciplines of contracting, procurement to payment, materials management, logistics, supplier diversity, and Shared Services across Chevron.

Robel joined Chevron in 2006 as a business analyst in the Procurement/SCM organization. He has held positions of increasing responsibility in Chevron Upstream (DWEP and LABU) and Downstream (America Products and Manufacturing). Most recently he served as manager for the combined Products-Manufacturing Procurement/SCM organization, where he drove total cost reduction and service improvement along the crude to customer value chain.

Barrios received a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management from Universidad Tecnológica del Centro in Venezuela. He also received a master’s degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University in 1998 and 2006, respectively.
